Who Killed the Rabbit?
We made it to Auntie Amber's and Uncle Ed's. Safe and sound. Thanks to Ed. Although, the journey was anything but boring! Ed drove me and the kids from Albuquerque, NM to Brigham City Utah. We made it in 12 hours! Not bad. Here is the funniest and saddest story. In Colorado, I just started to doze off when I felt and heard this big "thud, thud, thud." I was like, "Whoa, what was that?" Ed said that it was a rabbit. So, I was like, "Was it a Jack Rabbit?" I'm used to seeing them in New Mexico. Ed said "I think so." Okay, so I was like "Ewe, Gross, I've never run over any animal before!" So, that woke me up. Then, we traveled more and made a few stops, and carried on with our journey. Well, I was very tired. So, I started to doze off again. Being unsuccessful, I felt Ed swerve the van and THUD! So, I opened my eyes, and I was like "What was that?" Ed was like, "It was a black cat?" I was like, "Ewe, Gross, That's two!" So, for sure I was not getting any sleep! Well, I think I got about 20 mins or so. We made it to Utah. Wow, there are so many beautiful things to look at. It was nice. So, we finally pulled into The Treto's driveway at about 2:30 in the morning. Ed got out of the van first and he said "Oh, don't look, Don't Look!" Of course, I had to look. Low and behold...The Jack Rabbit, dangling from the front of my van! How Gross!!! Okay, the story goes on! So, Ed was going to get rid of it in the morning. Well, after much needed sleep, the morning came. We teased the kids and told them we had breakfast for them! We went outside and guess what? The rabbit was gone. There were no remains left, nothing! We think one the neighborhood cats got it! So, that was quite a journey!

I was shocked when I first saw these pics. But I have to ask, do you know why the van swallowed that fly?
