Let's see, where do I start? Coming from Utah, going to Las Vegas, we had to pull off the highway in Saint George due to a very loud noise and pull from our trusty old van! So, we found out it was leaking fluid all over. After a few hours and $580 later, it was fixed. So back on the road we go!
We had a great time in California. Too bad our camera is broke. Now I have to find a way to download the photos. Anyway, leaving California to go to Arizona.
It was 3 in the morning when we decided to stop and sleep in Kingman, Az. We got a great hotel with a great rate. We were so tired that we only brought the necessities in, which was our 4 kids. Not realizing that someone would be so low and filthy to steal from us...
We woke up and got ready, I asked Scott to grab my sneakers from the top carrier that was on the van, as we were to go to the Grand Canyon next. Well the girls come back crying saying that our carrier and everything in it got stolen!
Yes, it was true. All their new toys, our photo's from Sea World, all of our shoes except the ones on our feet, important papers, including our check book. Whatever was in there was completely gone! How could this have happen? Whose fault was it? Why? When? Who? It was a horrible feeling. Of course we called the police and reported it. The question remains in our head. Will they find our stuff? Is it a priority? So far no word from them.
So, anyway, finishing our trip, we headed to Flagstaff. Thanks Theresa for the relaxing stay there!
We head down to Mesa the Sedona way, which OH! It was the most beautiful place I have seen!

That does sound horrible, don't you feel so violated?! I am so sorry.
Sounds like you were in my old neck of the woods, Sedona is loverly-- did you get to drive through Oak Creek Canyon? It's heart-stoppingly beautiful.
So sad for you, hope things are recovered, though I tend to doubt the police in those sort of situations... sometimes they act as if they could care less, and I think they do. Hope things work out well.
Kimby- I still feel awful about that! It just makes you sick what people will do.
