Alannah can read!

I took the kids to the Library on Friday and Alannah picked out a begin to read book! It looked really easy for me to start teaching her how to read. Well, last night before tucking her in bed, I sat with her and we talked about what sounds the letters of the alphabet make. She did such a great job sounding them. Well, we looked at the book and to my amazement, she caught on real fast! She had a few trouble spots that I helped her with, but, overall she did excellent and was proud of herself! I am so pleased! So, tomorrow, we will be going and getting more books to practice with!
