You may have wondered why I haven't been posting lately (or not). Well, Scott and I have decided to switch roles for a little while. He is staying at home with the kids, (until he starts school in July), while I am back to work.
Since I haven't worked in over 8 years, going back just 3 weeks ago has been a bit of a challenge. However, I am now enjoying it and have the hang of it. I decided to become a cashier at the Military grocery store (aka, the Commissary). I enjoy socializing with everyone and the time goes by pretty fast. Plus, I get great pay, considering what everywhere else had to offer. And, I get to wear basically whatever I want!
I have to applaud Scott, again, for doing such a great job with the house and kids while I am away. It is really neat to be able come home to a clean house and the kids all bathed and ready for bed! He is perfect for switching roles. THANK YOU HONEY!
Anyway, it is fun and I know this is just temporary, but I am definitely enjoying as it lasts!

I'm so jealous of your apron!
I know, right?
Great apron. What a cutie pie you are:)
Ummm...debit....no, wait, credit....I mean debit! Or credit! UGH! I hate making decisions!!! ;P''''
You are such a sweetie. I hope he appreciates what a great person you are-- I mean, here you are switching roles and you are thoughtful enough to appreciate the things he's doing (most of us would be critical because it wasn't done our way--hanging my head).
Do you sing the "Bring home the Bacon" song when you leave? :-)
Anna- awe, thanks!
Lisa- it's hard to make tough decisions. Stick with credit, unless you want cash back, then...LOL!
IBHH- no, but Scott does call me his 'sugar mamma' and occasionally sings "She works hard for her money"!
you go girl - being a wife, mom, worker and sugar mamma is not an easy task!
keep up the good work!
Hey, Your the smilin'est cashier there1 I love to go to the Commissary now!
You look so cute!
Okay, what if I want to pay partly in cash, and the rest on debit. And, oh yeah, I forgot I have this stack of coupons, is that okay? I bet you are the best cashier! I know I would love to see your smiling face after a harrowing trip through the commissary with four kids screaming for treats (okay, Grayson just screams for Mommy treats, but still . . .)! And I know Scott is doing a great job. He is such a good dad, and I have always been so impressed with how neat he is around the house. I miss you guys!!!!
That's great ~ you go, workin' woman! :)
